We are looking for a community-minded, creative self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a digital video native who has produced and edited video for social media or related audiences. Our ideal candidate should be passionate about the Korean entertainment industry, have knowledge of film/video, editing, current media trends, and have a keen eye for detail and visual branding.
There are two types of internships available. The paid internship will require full-time commitment, while the unpaid internship can be part-time with school credit available. The Videography/Editing internship will involve creating content strategy, developing brand awareness, generating inbound traffic, and cultivating a global, online identity. This role will work in collaboration with our marketing team on a variety of tasks, including shooting/editing original and promotional content to provide our audience with an immersive brand experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop, produce, shoot, and edit original and promotional video segments designed for mobile/social/media platforms and optimizing versions of the story for specific platforms
Take ownership and manage projects with a predefined creative vision through careful planning and execution of video shoots and video editing
Ensure videos are in line with our brand guidelines and convey our message/story
Ensure composition, expression, and lighting meet creative standards
Drive all aspects of the video post-production process – from ingesting footage following a shoot to exporting for final delivery
Manage file storage, categorizing, and archiving for all projects
Stay ahead of the curve on ever-changing social media platforms and best practices
REQUIREMENTS:
1+ years of relevant experience as a videographer/editor
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.)
Proficient with either the Macintosh (OSX) and PC computing platforms (both is a plus)
Experience with DSLR, audio, and video camera equipment and file formats
Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with frequent priority shifts, without compromising forward movement and meeting deadlines
Able to effectively multitask, work quickly, creative problem-solve, and prioritize
Excellent communicative (verbal and written) and interactive skills
Professionalism regarding time, costs, and deadlines
Flexible, attentive to detail, deadline-oriented
Ability to work some weekends as required for events
PLUSES:
Bachelor’s Degree in Film/Video or related field (in progress or complete)
Bilingual Korean/English skills
